The tv show was very popular and was introduced many pop culture elements of the year 1970. It took many years before the show was made into film. Finally, in the mid of 1990, director Kevin Smith wrote a screenplay. Reports said that Chris Rock will be portraying the major role but on the latter part, plans were change and Jim Carrey was chosen.

The main characters of the show were as follows. Lee Majors, Richard Anderson, Martin Balsam, Alan Oppenheimer, Martin E. Brooks, Lindsay Wagner and Darren McGavin.

The story focuses on Colonel Steve Austin. As he was testing an aircraft, he crashes and got badly injured. He is an astronaut and test pilot. OSI, a covert government agency is willing to help him and pay for all the expenses for his prosthetics.He lost his both legs. eye and arm. The new prosthetics which is made of Bionics will make him faster, better and stronger. But in return OSI want him to become their cover agent.


For me this was the Best of the Best for all time Favorite TV Shows.

Mission Imposible
Mission: Impossible is one of the greatest adventure shows of all time. I heard that Paramount is digitally remastering the episodes for DVD. There's a number of Paramount series that need to be released in season box sets. Gunsmoke and The Beverly Hillbillies just to name a couple.
I also liked it because it wasn't all about the action scene. It was about backstabs and meticuously laid out plans that worked to a tee. It also was a good spy movie that wasn't like Bond. Bond is good, but there is only one Bond, not to be imitated, and the writers of this movie obviously recognized that. Now the second one, I couldn't tell if I was watching M:I2 or a new Bond movie.

"impossible missions" by the unseen "Secretary". The series is best known for its opening mission assignment (conducted by a pre-recorded tape).

Scarecrow and Mrs. King

In the Scarecrow and Mrs. King series, Amanda (Kate Smith) is transformed from an Arlington, Virginia divorced working mother of two sons into an International Spy as part of "The Agency". Amanda takes a job at the International Federal Film Company, which is the cover for "The Agency". The pair of agents solve cases together, many of which involve Russian spys.

Amanda and Scarecrow (Bruce Boxleitner) do eventually get married, but no one is allowed to know about it. The double life becomes increasingly difficult as Amanda's mother Dotty (Beverly Garland) constantly pries into her private affairs. Her two sons think the couple are just dating.

The Scarecrow and Mrs. King television series ran on CBS from 1983 to 1987 for a total of 88 episodes.
This show relied heavily on mentality, and most of the plots involved spies. Some fans argue that shows romantic nature of Lee and Amanda's relationship ceased to be clandestine, and they started talking about marriage. They did marry, but their marriage was never revealed to other characters. Amanda's sons meet Lee as her boyfriend, not her husband.

Airwolf TV series was one of Donald P. Bellisario's hit creation aside from Magnum P.I.. The TV series premiered in CBS in 1984 and ended in 1987 covering 4 seasons with 80 episodes.

Airwolf TV series is a story about a super high technological attack helicopter that The Firm created. The Firm is a fictional top-secret division of the CIA that develops gadgets and weaponry for its agents. Airwolf was created by a The Firm's scientist Dr. Moffet, (played by David Hemmings) who also first tested Airwolf using it to destroy The Firms control tower causing the division head Michael Coldsmith-Briggs III, codename "Archangel" (Alex Cord) severely injured. Archangel calls on ace combat pilot Stringfellow Hawke (Jan-Michael Vincent) to bring back airwolf from Dr. Moffet who now resides in Libya. Hawke was aided by his close friend Dominic Santini (Ernest Borgnine), the owner of Santini Air specializing on aerial acrobatics. Together Hawke and Santini do their best to retrieve the Airwolf from the twisted hands of Dr. Moffet and use it to combat terrorist and other big-time criminals.When Airwolf's inventor stole the machine with the intention to sell it to the Libyans, the Firm recruited maverick pilot Stringfellow "String" Hawk to get it back. Upon accomplishing this mission, String decided to hold on to Airwolf, refusing to surrender the vehicle until the Firm had located his brother, who'd been missing in action since Vietnam. However, String agreed to continue using Airwolf on behalf of the Good Ol' U.S.A. to vanquish villains -- but only on his own terms.

The 1960s Batman TV series focuses on Bruce Wayne, a multi-billionaire living in crime capital Gotham City. Bruce Wayne is Batman a crime fighting super hero that uses only his wits and some advance gadgets and vehicles to combat criminals and bring them to justice. When Bruce was just a child he’s parents were murdered in front of him, because of this Bruce trained himself to become tough enough to fight thugs and criminals. Along with Bruce is Dick Grayson a former circus acrobat who became Batman’s sidekick Robin, they secure Gotham from bigtime criminals such as the Joker, Penguin, Scarecrow, the Riddler and Catwoman.

While visuals and sound and score are very important a good story is essential. Batman The Animated Series succeeds very well in this area as well. The writing in this show is excellent. In this series lesser known characters receive as much attention and character development as the big names. Everything comes together to create an interesting tale.
One of the most interesting things about the writing is how it works to show how these characters really feel about the events that are effecting them. It seems rare in television animation to see growth and depth in characters but this is achieved in Batman The Animated series.
There have been times when I watched this series that I thought the story was better than the ones in the Batman movies. The writers have done a good job in updating the character of Robin. Dick Grayson is now in college in this series. The relationship that exist's between he and Bruce Wayne is explored more than one would expect. This is true of most of the characters. This emphasis on character and relationships between the characters is a strong point of the show.
